When I wake up in the morning I look forward to my daily yoga practice of asana (postures) and pranayama (breath expansion). The path of yoga does not end with those aspects. Working to be firmly established in non-violence and truthfulness and other external observances helps me to view my way of life in new ways. The practice helps me stay active and alert in life. There are obstacles and afflictions detrimental to the path of yoga. Even if we “fall” off the path of yoga we can certainly hop back onto it. The pace at which we move isn’t so important. Walking the path of yoga making our way through it’s twists and turns is the aim and the means.
