Now the New Year has begun it is great time to re-invigorate your yoga practice. Start by being grateful for any effort you put into your path. No effort along the way is lost (Bhagavad Gita II.40) Figure out a new routine by picking a class time you can commit to for at least six to eight weeks with a Certified Iyengar Yoga Teacher (CIYT). Use the movement patterns and poses you learn from yoga class and incorporate them into your own yoga practice. Timers that count seconds and minutes are helpful tools to stay focused and build up time in yoga postures.
