Freedom

Remember the last day of school before summer vacation? What was your feeling as you walked through those school doors ready to throw your books in the air and not look back? When you stretch your arms overhead and reach for the sky do you feel a sense of elation and exhilaration?  Yoga can bring freedom in movement with released and relaxed muscles. By tending to the anatomical and physiological sheaths we are prepared to over come our fears, anxiety, and self-criticism.  With freedom in the body we can reach freedom in the mind and vice versa.  When we have mental freedom we can believe that anything is possible including challenging yoga poses.
