Yoga has 8 stages . Theses steps are not linear. The term petal is more suited to describe the 8 parts.

  2. Personal Observances: cleanliness, contentment, austerity, self-study, and surrender.
  3. Physical Postures
  4. Breath Expansion
  5. Withdrawal of the Senses
  6. Concentration
  7. Meditation
  8. Complete Absorption
