The definition of Yoga is the yoking or union between the body, mind, and soul. Yoga is an experiential method to quiet the chattering mind.
Monica offers introductory yoga classes open to the public [see schedule ]. Anybody with an interest in yoga is encouraged to participate in this introductory level yoga class. Students are directed to focus on physical actions in various yoga postures. This deliberate concentration on bodily movements can bring increased stability, strength, and flexibility. The practice of yoga may bring emotional benefits such as patience, courage, and inner peace. Poses taught in the introductory class include standing and sitting poses. Interested individuals are advised to speak to a doctor before joining a yoga class. Monica is a Certified Iyengar Yoga Teacher at the Introductory I&II level

Monica Plante has been teaching yoga in the White Mountains of New Hampshire since 2015. She has been studying with David Goldblatt and Certified Iyengar Yoga Teacher (CIYT) Rose Goldblatt since 2003. Recently, Monica completed a Yoga Teacher Training program in March 2016 with CIYT Janice Vien at the Yoga Connection LLC in Grantham,NH. Monica is a Level 1 Certified Iyengar Yoga Teacher.
